This song is based on the book of Romans Chapter 1 21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. IN THIS HOUR THE TOWER SHALL FALL! This could be a reference to the Towel of Babel. Erected by men who professed themselves wise and able to literally reach the heavens and God if they wanted to. God crushed their pride. |

I LOVE this song! Behold the man without strength The strongest man that ever lived Jesus was a man without strength in that he was fully human and at the mercy of the Romans to be crucified. (John 1:14) Jesus was the strongest man that ever lived in that he was fully God and in complete control of his life and death. (John 10:18) Behold the end of all things The end of all things just beginning When Christ comes again to judge the living and the dead, it will be the end of all things as we know it. He will establish the New HEaven and the New earth and that will be just the beginning of the rest of eternity! The weak are marching on with one objective Take back the times These days are evil No one can stop them The 'weak' who are marching are Christians who will be victorious in the battle against evil. Their one objective, to have victory over sin. Though they are weak they fight with the strength supplied by God. Hence no one can stop them. The dead rise up to praise You Your love goes far beyond the grave The dead will rise up when Christ comes again. (Acts 24:15) Though we may physically die, if we believe in Christ we will love. God's love does go beyond the grave (John 11:25,26) It's life or death Now make your choice Whose side are you on? |
