I think this song is about a relationship. This person (the singer) has something wrong with them. Possibly a drug addiction or something like that that would hinder the other person from fully accepting them. So, the singer is falling for this person, but she doesn't accept him ("Am I wasting all this time Just trying to find the world in your eyes?" as well as "Don't shut me out again"). He is trying to get across to this girl in the song as shown in: "I just want you to hear these words. Forget the obvious mistakes so I can breathe Let me offer you all that I can give Don't shut me out again I'll shake but I will stand I'm slipping constantly I'm falling off the end" What I think he is trying to say is: Yeah, I may have problems that I need to work on, But I want you to see me for who I am and quit pushing me away. I will have my get knocked down every once in a while, But I want you to be there helping me back up again. That's just my interpretation. Really good song by the way. |
