I know the psalters website says: "but you can't capture wind and you can't control awe" but the recording says something different, artists do that every once in a while, you know? i think it's: "the wind slips through the fingers you can't control" or something like that this is a paraphrase of acts 5:17-32. you should read it. it makes all the lyrics in this song very clear. |

| nevermind, after listening to jeremy enigk for the first time, it definetly is him and not captain napkins. | |

| I don't think that is jeremy singing at the end. i'm pretty sure that is captain napkins from the psalters. | |

sounds more like this: "we've got a heck of a lot to learn, without remaining taciturn." |

it is: "a silver padparadscha ring". for sure. that is actually something that is used to make rings. unlike the other optoins that have been presented. it is is a color of saphires or something. whoo! that is a good deal the king is making, padparadshas are expensive. also, i'm pretty sure "vanishing birds" is correct. i agree with porterja. i think professor and the lieutenant both represent people with wrong veiws of God. (like the cat, peacock and girl in "a glass can only spill what it contains") any ideas of what type of person the lieutenant is representing? i think in this song he is characterizing beetles as humans, to compare how little we understand of God to how little beetles understand of fire. The fire represents the mysteries of God? |

Of course it's Psalters-eque. that's captain napkins himself. also, he sings in The Angel of Death Came to David's Room, and one other one that i can't remember now. i am going to guess you already knew this, because it would be difficult to notice that it sounded psaltery without noticing that it was captain napkins. but, oh well. |

| Anathallo – All The First Pages Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song is mostly about neil armstrong. in 1979 he was working on his fathers farm. he jumped off of a moving grain truck, and lost his ring finger. he walked inside and calmly put his finger in ice, and had it reattached. Buildings as brick boxes to be opened, turned sideways and cracked. Except the what? that is inside is much too fluid, too fast. that is referring to our bodies, and how easy it is to break them. that is what he was thinking about, because of neil armstrong. the blue and green themes are referring to what the earth looks like from space. the two colors that crowd all the other colors out. |
