I can't believe there aren't more comments on this song!! This is one of his best on the new album. My fav part is: And all the angels they'll be singing "I love this." Man the vocals and harmonization on the "I love this" part... Man, he was blessed with a great voice. I just keep rewinding it back to that part of the song. I wish I could sing like that! Amazing... |

This song is pretty sweet!! I heard it the first time a couple years back at my brother's wedding. I downloaded it the next day! It nice to hear the reggae feel to it. Definitely a lot different than his Remedy song. Sounds a lot like Jack Johnson - who rocks as well! If you guys like this song you should check out the song "Lucky" from his new album. It's a duet with Colbie Caillat. Really cool song as well! Oh and "Make it Mine". Love that song too!!! |

It's funny you say that Likeminded. I thought the same thing. It was weird because when I first heard it, I just felt sad cause I never thought I would find that in someone. Now that I'm engaged, this song completely describes how I feel about her. I especially love this part: Next door There's an old man Who lived to his nineties And one day Passed away In his sleep And his wife, she stayed For a couple of days And passed away It is so true when you think about it. Sometimes I think about when we both get older and how hard it would be to stay around if one of us were to pass away. I honestly think that if she passed before I did, what he describes above would happen to me. Such a beautiful song and yes, we are definitely dancing to this song as our bride and groom dance. Love this song as well as many other Ben Fold songs! Ben, keep on Rockin' (the Suburbs) Sorry. Had to say it :-) |

I love this song too!! When my fiance and I first started dating, she never ever listened to country. This was the first country song that I played for her and she fell in love with it. About a year and a half later I proposed to her while we were dancing to this song and then we went to a Brad Paisley Concert afterwards!! One of the best nights EVER!! I think it was a fitting song for her because there are so many bits of it that describe her sooo well: She's I can't find a thing to wear Now and then she's moody She's a bubble bath and candles Baby come and kiss me She's a one glass of wine And she's feeling kinda tipsy (Ha! This makes me think of sooo many nights of wine drinking) |
