| Nine Inch Nails – Discipline Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| To me it seems like it's about how most of people subconsciously need and want to be dictated what to do, how to live, they need somebody to give them discipline. And they can be controled easily this way. It can be church if we were thinking about believe, it can be government or society when comes to moral values, as well it can be about drugs or sex in personal life... i'm not sure if i managed to explain it good enough... and in adittion this is not the only one meaning of the song | |

Well, they have some much better lyrics. I guess it isn't easy for most of people to admit there is just nothing after this life. I think this is one of the reasons why so many people need to believe in something... Aerofrog: Good thing is that if you're right, you're lucky...if you're wrong, you'll never know. Two reasons why I'm stupid when I don't believe... it could be so much easier to live... :D |

| Skillet – Imperfection Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think there's no need to discuss about what the lyrics means because many others have said that already. As an atheist (who likes Skillet ... and P.O.D. ... and other christian bands which don't just speak stupid religious things and which think) i can say i feel from this lyrics that someone who believe in God has written it, but the thought of God isn't necessary to understand it. It could be about anybody (of course except people who see only imperfections of the others) not depending on belief. | |
