K I'm not trying to be the one to say 'this tracks about drugs.' Rumors were going around at that time though that Layne was missing fingers and even DEAD because of his drug abuse. During that time the pupils become very large and sensitive to light and you are in a state of hellish insomnia and anxiety so as a result the teeth chatter and grind. Hear a sound from a voice inside I understand that simply like your head telling you over and over "I need more NOW".. This song was written by Jerry, but the songs meaning is definitely speaking for Layne about the rumors the media made up as well as the reality of the lifestyle Layne choose... RIP Layne. |
