| This song echoes a lot of what I feel right now. From the way I see it, it seems like everyone he/she knows is drifting away. In photographs,you can see how people look or act, but you aren't actually seeing them in real life. This could signify how far away they are, but still close enough to see the changes. To me, this song is letting go of the people that have drifted/are drifting away, despite how hard it may be or how many memories are tied to those people (referring to "swimming in gray"). | |
