Could this be about The Mission/Hussey? The first verses sung to Hussey? "In the land of the blind Be...king, king, king, king " Andrew saying that Wayne Hussey can be king while he (Andrew) is not making music. This would also put the two parts of the song in great perspective: Mother Russia is the losing side in the superpower race. The race between Eldritch and Hussey. And this would make the Ozymandias reference a future prediction for Hussey. |

He seems to be talking about admiration-love rather than love as in a relationship. My guess is that he is expressing his need for recognition of his musical greatness. "I don't know Why you gotta be so undemanding" If so, then he's talking to a band member rather than a woman. "Learning to cry for fun and profit I'm not done yet Counterfeit dollars or the English zloty Anything I can get" This is the interesting part. Is he promising us more? (of his greatness) |

Good call Merlock, that makes sense. And it is totally in tune with the attitude he gives in this interview: http://www.spookhouse.net/tsom/mastersvoice.html. -Disecting Andrew's lyrics is so much fun! |
