i think everyone has a smidge of the right idea and they all need to be blended together. my interpretation:: this song is romantic. it talks about a guy who loves a girl. the girl is selfmedicating her pain(by drinking) and having ups and downs. the guy is saying he'll do anything to help her. she's not realizing that all he wants to do is help her. the guy is trying to help the girl believe in herself. "between the bars"= a happy medium. |
