I agree that the song describes happiness perfectly. however i don't think its necessarily a happy song. every thing he describes is in his dream. not real. who knows what the narrators life is like for real. |

simply having biblical references does not make this song about god. references can be used to show how similar two different ideas or situations are. They can also be used to describe things that happen in real life to give a person insight into how another person is feeling and what they may be going through. though mineral songs may have religious references and undertones i do not think the songs are about god (though they may be for all i know) i feel he just uses what he knows (the bible) to illustrate events in his life and emotions he has felt. also whatever he intended the songs to be about i think each person listening to them, or any other band, should draw there own meaning from the music not just what other people think the artist intended. |
