I think that this song and cd for that matter have been written at a low point in lacey's relationship with God. He is questioning the beliefs that he grew up with and now is trying to really find what he believes. At some points he shows hes ready to give up, while at others it appears hes calling out for God to come and save him. Everyone has down points in religion. Christianity is a relationship with God and all relationships have down points, just like one may have a rough time in friendships or their relationship with a gf or bf. Thats why i love this cd, i can relate to the times when you question your faith. But really when you question your faith and find answers it makes your faith even stronger....god bless |
