I heartfully agree. This is a very sad zoo-zoo-zoo song. I posted it three times on my blog (Amor Omnia Vincit). At first I tought the lyrics dealt with my supposed inability to truely love -- locked inside a metal heart. But now I see it's about the impossibility to escape from a fictious reality: faking / hiding / selfish. I've learned this distinction by personal experience in a lost love. A poignant desillusion to fight and to be blocked by an inner world that's locked. Due to faking, where even this wasn't recognized any more. Yes, you said it right: disillusionment. |
