I love this song for the fact that its attacking the idea that to be considered normal or cool in society you must stay within its parameters of its expectations... you must act in a certain way, dress a certain way, have certain friends, be entertained a certain way, to have certain goals and aspirations... and if you dont do what is expected of you socially, you are ostracized regardless of whether society or the outcast is right. |

well that is a claim that some make, that wars such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Vietnam (see Dead Kennedy's Kinky sex makes the world go round and youll see what the thoughts are) basically to rid the country of the poor so they dont have to pay them for doing nothing essentially. |

this song is not about a drug free america! why would someone who does drugs in public and on stage say not to do drugs.
its about interventions about mikes drug use. his family hates that he is a coke head and its about how they want him to stop but he wont cos of the irrasistable forces. and he will do anything to get more drugs (roll over shake and beg for a bone) |
