While I do agree with the girlfriend interpretation, I think that this could also be seen in the same tone as Cinema. The "ballerina" is really just an aspect of his mind, an idealism he made up to make himself feel better. She is constantly taunting him with better ideas and fantasies than his current life, and like the escapism in Cinema, she "dances circles around" him by seducing him to not live in reality. To me, "When will my transformation come?" is about wishing for a better world and self, as if hoping for such will make yourself better. The third part would refer to wasting his life. "I sit under rain", as if there's a force keeping him in bed, or in his fantasy world, what have you, even know he knows and constantly tells himself that he needs to snap out of it, "gathering the courage to do what my mind tells me". "I've become a joke, a disrespectful being that's been handed all he's ever wanted." He feels like his life has been relatively easy and yet he's still failed, being disrespectful by doing nothing with his life while others with harder lives have accomplished so much. I feel like this is someone being torn between wanting to give in and forget reality, and the guilt of doing so. |

| He's pretty obviously talking about only really wanting to spend your time dreaming. He hates being awake because it's not nearly as good as a life that he could create in his head, in his dreams. However he also hates that he's sleeping away his entire life, wasting all of his time making up the life he wants instead of going after it in reality. Even as a logical human being, knowing that this is bad for him, he cannot help but always fall back into the bed, or daydream. It seems that he also feels safer dreaming during the daytime, because you are less reasonable and more fearful when you sleep, or just that this pattern of living makes you feel more childish. | |

I'm pretty sure it's "I don't enjoy it, I loathe it", not "untill he'll enjoy it, allow this" and the majority of the rest of this song's lyrics are not exact either, but I can't tell what they're saying either xD |
