| Fall Out Boy – From Now On We Are Enemies Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
i don't know for sure, but this song sure as hell has the making of swan song... (aka, they're last) 'I'm just the man on the balcony singing: "Nobody will ever remember me," Rejoice, rejoice and fall to your knees' this sounds like they saying this as a wish, like here it is, now forget about us because this life is making us crazy (lunatic references) |

no... again... check their site... they have the lyrics posted. its Have you ever wanted to disappear? And join a monastery Go out and preach on Manic Street? copy - pasted from their site. it may not make "sense" to you but you gotta work with what they give you and that's what fob says it is. |

| i'm sorry to sound like one of those crazy people that stand up for the singers - because that is totally not me - but pete doesn't say anything in his lyrics that have no meaning. he's ridiculously intelligent and a brilliant writer, and for the love of god, i'm sure he knows what "taxidermy" mean, you're just not ingenious enough to figure out what he's saying with that metaphor. | |
| Fall Out Boy – Sugar, We're Goin Down Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
that line "I'm just a notch in your bed post, but you're just a line in a song" is like the ultimate "fuck you" to a girl that's being a whore, thinking that she's pulling a fast one on him. saying yeah i know you're a whore and you think you're using me, well just so happens i'm using you too. its halarious how people are making this song sound like its a love song, how its about a guy who likes this girl and everything... if anything the closest thing to love is the fact that he may lust after this girl... and that's it. |

| Fall Out Boy – Our Lawyer Made Us Change the Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| exactly! they said with this project (FOB, as compared to earlier bands they were in) they were just goofing around, and its the one that ended up being the best. they never set out to be a big name band with FOB, hey were just trying to make music and have fun. | |
| Fall Out Boy – Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i'm pretty sure the line "i hope he is a gentleman" is being a little on the sarcastic side. i think he (the singer pov) is saying that he was a jerk, and this girl left him for someone who's no better than him, and he's saying... 'well if you thought i was so bad, what are you doing with him?' he likes this girl but he's lazy about it... and says basically one of these days he's going to get it together and make an effort... but not today, but he still doesn't think she should be with him anyway. | |
| Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i believe what he's referring to as the bandwagon, is the numerous bands that jumped on their coat-tails whenever they came out and road it to their own fame as well, but i also think it is referring to all the people that started paying attention to the band after FUCT, who aren't fans of the band, only of the few songs that made the radio, and started calling themselves fans because it was suddenly cool to like FOB aka bandwagon fans. they make the music for themselves, not for their fans, and it may be aimed toward something like "we don't need you (bandwagon fans), we've already got enough fans (who have been with us the whole way)" | |
| Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this wasn't written as a radio single, pete, himself, said that there may have been bigger radio hits on the album but this was picked as their first single because it was something that just had to be said. it definitely makes a great statement. | |
| Fall Out Boy – Thriller Lyrics | 17 years ago |

i agree, makes a real statement about how they feel about their fans, love it. i really agree with them too.. screw the guys that aren't with them all the way through, i hate those kinds of fans that love a band... then hate on them... then love them again |

| Fall Out Boy – America's Suitehearts Lyrics | 17 years ago |

yo... they DID post the lyrics... its on www.itsnotjustafad.com THESE ARE THE ONES POSTED THERE: You could have knocked me out with a feather I'm sure you've heard this all before but we're just hell's neighbors Why why why won't the world revolve around me? In my dreams trees grow all over the streets I don't know much about classic cars But I've got a lot of friends stuck on classic coke Down, set, one, hut, hut, hike Media blitz Let's hear it for America's sweethearts But I must confess I'm in love with my own sins Let's hear it for America's sweethearts But I must confess I'm in love with my own sins You can bow and pretend Like you don't don't know you're a legend Time time time hasn't told anyone else yet Sorry I just let my love loose again I don't know much about classic cars But I've got a lot of friends stuck on classic coke Down, set, one, hut, hut, hike Media blitz Let's hear it for America's sweethearts But I must confess I'm in love with my own sins Let's hear it for America's sweethearts But I must confess I'm in love with my own sins You could have knocked me out with a feather I'm sure you've heard this all before Let's hear it for America's sweethearts But I must confess I'm in love with my own sins Let's hear it for America's sweethearts But I must confess I'm in love with my own sins so there is no more confusion with this. these are definately the right lyrics. says fob themselves. |

| Fall Out Boy – I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me and You) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i hear it, its def. there. i'm fairly certain he's alluding to the fact that the girl likes to be "that girl" he writes songs about... its in a bunch of other songs too. | |
