Wow, why has no one commented this song? Its so amazing and beautiful and I love it! So, I think this song is about a guy who loves a girl (obviously) and that even though she's happy and wonderful during the day, at night, her true feeling surface. But this boy is the only boy who can see that, and he cares for and loves her deeply. She might've just gotten out of a long relationship and the boy wants to be there for her and wants HER to love HIM. "Let me raise you up. Let me be your love." And he's asking her, "May I hold you as you fall to sleep? When the world is closing in and you can't breathe?" He wants to be there for her, he cares for her so much and doesn't want her hurt. "All I want is to keep you safe from the cold. To give you all that your heart needs the most." He wants to protect her and give her the right kind of love. And at the end, she might love him too, "For your love is changing me." I don't know, but thats what I think the song means. |
