i thought 'so you can burn me' is about him being cremated, 'Cause we'll all be the same, the same way, Dirt in someone's eyes cried down the drain' - we'll all be cremated, we'll all end up as ashes, the dirt that is cried down the drain is the ashes of a dead body, which is cried down the drain becuse of people close to him mourning his death. i'm probably wrong, it's just what i thought, anyone else see what im getting at? x |

'keep your naked flesh under your favourite dress' 'when they reach out, don't touch them, don't touch them' and 'steer clear of the grasp, girl -- run, run, away' - i thought it was about a girlfriend cheating on him, seems to me like she has given in to temptation before and is telling her not to give in to it again 'i decided this decision some six months ago so i'll stick to my guns, but from now on it's war i am armed with the past, and the will, and a brick i might not want you back, but i want to kill him' - he broke up with her 6 months ago after she cheated, still loves her but cant trust her anymore so 'sticks to his guns', he's armed with her being unfaithful to back up his decision, wants to kill who she cheated with. 'just roll over boy and don't make me do this' - pleading with her not to do it again so he doesnt have to go through breaking up with her, or telling himself to just forget it happened so they can stay together in ignorance. 'i'm not ready to see you this happy i'm still in love with you (can't admit it yet)' - he's not ready to see her happy after what she did to him and their relationship, especially when he still loves her and wants her to beg him to take her back instead of moving on when he cant. anyone else see it?? :) x |
