It feels like the song is talking about the dejection you feel when you want to belong somewhere but it keeps going badly. About when you try to get close to people, but you can't guess what's inside of them, so you just keep getting hurt by them. But at the end of the day you have someone important to you, and suddenly everyone else just doesn't matter anymore because that one person needs and loves you more than anyone. |
