"drink the colors of the night time" is seriously my favorite line. it says a lot with few words; it seems to bottle up a whole relationships emotions into one line. it could mean to drink in order to forget someone, drink because you're happy, etc. say anything FTW

really, for all those people who have no clue, this song is about a man that has dreams of him dying from cut wrists in his bathtub. he figures out that he's not dreaming this time and tries to go back into a dream. now, i get all the lyrics, and i think they're freakin sweet, but one part of a line i don't understand: my eyes are red and gold. the red is the blood, but what's the gold? are they saying that this is a worthy death, like it's glamorous like gold is?
