Not at all. It has many different references to different things, but a drug problem is not one of them. If you knew Braddigan and knew what he stood for, you know that it would never be that. I think this song has something to do with what he experienced when he went to Nicaragua, or another foreign country, because many of his songs do. It doesn't help that a few words are wrong and a lot of words are spelled wrong... :( |

I believe that Calvary is the place where Jesus was crucified...thus, that line. Beautiful song, my favorite by Braddigan. But of course, all of his songs are amazing. |
