"As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." Proverbs 27:17 (NLT) I think the song is about what happens when a Spirit-filled brotherhood comes together. Before, everyone is living with no regard for anyone around them because that's what this world kind of tells us to do. But, in the long run, we notice our emptiness in our hearts and souls and fill that void with God and our brothers in Him. |

| I don't know if the crutch is God or not with the lyric "They have always been there to brace your fall." I thought he was more so referring to close friends and people you can confide in. But God is still the strongest crutch one could have and I think ABR could've changed "they" to "He." | |
