Pink Floyd – Summer '68 Lyrics 15 years ago
All the ones you mentioned there are the sections of the Atom Heart Mother suite. :) Not seperate songs. (I assume. Maybe they're demos)

They don't just use celsius over here. Plus it matches with the line before it 'I felt the cold so soon, in a room of 95'

Anyway, I love this song. It shows even then where Floyd would eventually end up, lyrically, and it sounds great too. I'd love to get good enough on the guitar to cover this song.

David Bowie – Andy Warhol Lyrics 17 years ago
Apparently Bowie and Warhol got on fairly well after the ice was broken. True, he didn't really like the song because he thought it was making fun of the way he looked, and at the beginning of the conversation there was a couple of minutes of awkward silence, but then they got into the conversation about shoes.

There was no storming out it appears. Very exccentric though, shoes.

Queen – God Save the Queen Lyrics 17 years ago
Patriotism all the way, and the song definitely sounds better being done by Queen than being done with an orchestra. Otherwise I find it moderately boring, and I'm british myself.

We need a national anthem more like Italy's. :)

Queen – Bring Back That Leroy Brown Lyrics 17 years ago
It's definitely meant to be a silly song, the ukelele pretty much cements that. Queen definitely seemed to have a thing about gangsters as well; this song, Stone Cold Crazy, another one bites the dust... It's like some sort of childhood thing they keep going back to.

Queen – Don't Try Suicide Lyrics 17 years ago
It's certainly not meant to be realistic, that's for sure. I mean, Prick teaser? It's just a song really.

Queen – Great King Rat Lyrics 17 years ago
I see it differently. Personally, I see the middle section being told from the perspective of one of the Rat's followers. I mean, the first and last bits don't really fit with the middle section, since they seem like a warning against him. If you're not for the rat, you're his rival. I see the Rat as one of the false prophets who try to trick religious people to believe in them or become a cult leader (who believes they really are someone special).

Also, the line near the end is 'This evil man will fight', in other words the Rat will go after you.
