i was once reading an interview with Jon and they asked him about this song. I don't remember his exact words but more or less he was saying that it might actually be a great day when the world ends. I can see where he's coming from. This world is getting worse and worse with each day, and though this place is getting harder to live in, the redemption of God's children will be something beautiful.. that's just how i see it.. i'm throwin it at ya, if you don't like it you can throw it right back |

i like the whole "abolition of genres" thing. It just seems like switchfoot to be the ones to break the mold of the different genres of music and it so does go with the "we are one" theme |
