I think this song is about how he is always there for his friends, but they don't appreciate him or care about him as much as he does. "I know what they want and I know they don't want me to stay" maybe he feels like he is not wanted. the stanza: "'cause you are not alive when I need you I need it quickly in case you never know" makes me think that he needs them, and they don't realize it and are never there for him. |
