I love this song. It kind of reminds me of The Hangover. Stupid, I know, but some of the lyrics are similiar to the plot of that movie. As for what it means, I don't know, but it's my favorite song of theirs thus far. |

I think that has to do with a couple that started out not wanting to love each other. They denied it at first, but they fell in love without even realizing it. Through all their fighting, kicking, and screaming, they know they love each other. At first it says, "I never wanted you," but then it says, "I never wanted you to go."
Also, at one part of the song, he sings, "Let your fists come undone," like she's still fighting him while he accepts the fact that she is the love of his life. And maybe they messed it up too badly, because he claims that he never wanted to let it go. With her by his side, he feels like he's on top of the world.
I'm not quite sure if this is right. It's just my interpretation. |

I think it's about a guy who has stronger feelings for a girl who doesn't feel the same. It kind of reminds me of a story that I'm writing at the moment. It's about a girl who is desperate for her ex-boyfriend back, so she plots against him and pretends to date someone else. Inevitably, he falls in love with her and she can't show her feelings because she's too frightened. I'm not exactly sure what he was thinking when he wrote this, but I understand it enough. Anyone want to explain any further? |
