| To me this songs was always about the singer/writer seeing a girl he had been in a relationship with that he hadn't quite gotten over, but after seeing the new remake of the video I can definately understand the view of the girl having died and the singer trying to come to terms with that. Whichever view is was written from only the writer knows for sure, but the song can obviously go with either viewpoint and this in no way takes away from the power and beauty of the song. I fell in love with this song the very first time I heard it and I agree with the person that said only people whom have felt what the singer have felt will understand this song word for word. | |
