i know you can't separate this album from his entire body of work, but i still don't think it's totally appropriate to draw connections to previous songs, and say definitively, "this is what he' saying." |

i saw him live in LA, and the way he performed with autotune seemed so appropriate. first of all, in a way, it was totally ironic. it's as if he's poking fun at the way it's used in music today (and ever since it was developed). and second, it's totally fits with the nature of the royal robertson imagery, in that it, like you says i "dated" and cheesy, yet aims to be serious. |

i like the song. george bush is OUT, thank god.
but it seems like she preaching a lot against intolerance, but seems to forget that tolerance means even being tolerant of intolerant people, such as the one she's singing about |
