I typed this up in Notepad 2 mainly for ohhla.com so I didn't really account for the spacing that this site uses. Unfortunately ohhla.com's lyric has the incorrect "older mom's pink hat" line instead of Audemars Piguet. Hopefully none of my lines are incorrect, but it's kinda hard to hear certain works clearly due to how the song is mixed.
It's on the illest beats I've heard in a long time. Alchemist blacked out on this one. :) |

Beautiful and haunting exposition from Technique. There is a VERY similar song by Black Though ft. D'Angelo on Illadelph Halflife called "The Hypnotic." It has the same mellow/melancholy grove and subject matter. Check it out.

Yeah, Black Thought is definitely underrated. Well, the whole Roots clan is. For those who really dig this song there is a VERY similar song by Immortal Technique with the same mellow/melancholy grove called "You Never Know" |
