This is one of the best and emotionally powerful songs on Skeletons; I'm surprised to be the first to comment. This one seems kinda clear. I think it's about his stressed relationship with his parents and how detached he was from his mother because she was always absorbed in her own self-pity. Overall he's singing about his family problems from his childhood. |

| i really like Tokio Hotel, but i have to agree with angelalorainne on this one. their english stuff is really just bad translations trying to rhyme. things get lost in translation and it becomes pretty meaningless compared to the original. my advice, stick to their german stuff. | |

Lols jpgretzky15, this band is appealing cause they're fun to listen to and make great music to dance to. Us fans (or maybe it's just me) realize that they aren't "good" lyrics. Do you honestly think this is the ONLY stuff we listen to? I'm sure I can name a few bands and artists that you might consider "good" that I listen to as well. So please, don't waste your time bashing a band and their fans just cause they don't have talented lyrics. Although they're important, some bands aren't there for their lyrics. As for playing their own instruments, they're talented in their screaming/singing/rapping and they do their own mixing, so it *might* be okay that they don't play instruments. Honestly I can say that I probably will play this for my kids sometime in the future too. Maybe it'll be considered a classic oldie or something. ^_^ So there you go. That's exactly what is appealing about this band and why we listen to them. |
