Ah I love this song but I don't really think it's directed at not getting angry in particular... The anger was an effect, in the middle of things. Not the cause. I feel like he's trying to say you can't be naive and live in hope because in the end everything goes bad. The last part: "Rich or the poor. Muslims or Jews. When roles are reversed. Opinions are, too." I think that it is kind of saying that victims might be victims in this reality but if the power had of been in the other hands the victims would have been the persecutors and done exactly the same thing |

i love the reference to shakespeare :) don't know about 'serve god love me and mend' but it is definately 'one foot in sea, one on shore' i'm personally not a fan of preaching but if religion can produce music this beautiful among all the other things it has done in the past... this album has been on repeat for a fornight |

ahh this song is so obviously about a girl with way too many aspirations shes a little bit different and kinda insane but shes not a groupie and she might be a druggo but thats not the point the pictures she shows him are of the stars she one days wants to be like and maybe date shes too serious about becoming famous that she scares everyone away she wants most of all not to be forgotten which is why shes being all mysterious when she calls shes too old for him because shes so focussed in her life already that shes not acting like a 17-year-old he feels so pressured by her aspirations, the way shes aiming for the sky theres so much room for the future that he just wants to be a teenager with no choices thus 'chain me free' and blue chicken maybe you should have another look you cant always break everything down line for line |
