| Yellowcard – Holly Wood Died Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
There's a girl trying to get big in Hollywood (the "names on her sidewalk" is a nice touch). "Accidents out on the highway to somewhere, they tell us about when we're young" Represents people failing to make it to stardom; when she was young people told her she could be a famous actress. And later she says she just wants a good life and to be remembered. |

This is just my interpretation, but here it is: I think it's about a chick entering a relationship she knows will end badly or hurt her; she's doing it to rebel and escape her life and the people who don't appreciate her. And the guy doesn't really like her or is only in it for sex, but she doesn't care. Or maybe she's really in love with him and he doesn't love her back. But she's okay with it. It's all for fun. Right? |

| Stars – Take Me to the Riot Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think it's about drugs; the singer being a drug dealer of some kind. "Pills enough to make me feel ill" So he has enough pills to make him sick >.< And/or he takes them as well (I'm gonna go with the former). "Cash enough to make me well" This being the evidence that he deals. I don't think it's about prostitutes at all. The "riot" is any place with drug use. The talk about "serving them" is giving drugs. La la la I personally love this song. The themes of love and self destruction are so painful and emotional. It all speaks to me /so badly./ |
