"The tragic comedy divine" tragedy = a story that ends bad comedy = a story that ends good (not the humorous sense) they refeer to love relationships, which often does both good and bad to you "Paints the way to peace of mind" love is a prerrequisite to peace of mind or, the reason someone looks for a relationship is to achieve peace of mind becouse it's like an ought before nature and before society "Leaving shallow lovers far behind" people who don't have a 'deep'/true/beautiful love, are far from peace of mind |

that song is kinda abstract that's about someone's imagination but what's that imagined, you cannot tell about love, about glory things you think when you're alone, introspective things much wonderous to probably happend (btw, if them ever happened, would immediately not seem that wonderous anymore, that's inherent of reality) or things that sometimes don't even make sense, unclear even for the thinker, maybe things that would seem ridiculous if told but that are still beautiful for the dreamer it's so personal "and they'll never see her dream come true" but not unique "You're not the first to dream this, little girl" I have no much idea who's that "IT" mentioned maybe just something like a second person of one's thought.. the imaginary "other person" in a thought as if it was like a dialog the lyrics refers to "IT" as being powerful then I'm imagining that could be like "the own life", "the own world" becouse her dream is even greater than the limited reality, or life, or world is capable of the final part talks like the dream was realized an effort of the composer to picture that fantastic, romantic, unreal thing finally, i couldn't understend "a sea of doubt beneath her own" nor "believing all the stories told." nor "All plans have come together" |

or maybe someone that has his/her feelings played around with it says "you", "make you up, take you out" but refers to what people does to him/herself the speaker seems more like a victim when saying: "This time, if I can't win, Then I won't try to carry on", etc |

those lyrics are a little miswritten it's "It's safe to say that it's over now A place called home is just a memory alley" in the start for me it just talks about a relationship one wants to break for some reason she has some doubt "A thousand voices call my name" - she wanting to break "A thousand hands that pull me back down to the ground" - she wanting to maintain but in most of the lyrics, she seems determined "I turn away from what you were Denying all that you have given And find a place that's safe and far In time all will be forgiven" - she thinking about forgeting that relationship, it's clear on another part, she seems like feeling desires for someone else or just desires to be single again and knowing other people, changing her life becouse she's not in love anymore "Apologies all left unsaid" - apologias to him for her new feelings, or maybe to her for some hurt she has from her partner (that, maybe, is partly cause of her new feelings) "Secrets better left unspoken" - her desires "Dreams lay down and are put to bed" - she abdicating from her desires becouse of him "Rumors stirred and reawoken" - her new desires |

I'm sure it's related to growing up/getting old I just thought that the 2 groups ("we" and "them) would be girls and boys specificaly girls talking about boys "they're getting ugly", etc - is just about getting old "That they have everything/We give them all of our own" - would be like "we gave them our youth and love in the past", that would be everything one could expect in life "And they tell us they're sick and they're all alone" - but they keep complaining "They make fools of us together but we always think of them/All their laughing and their talking and their wasting of our time" - think that fits for one sex talking about the other "And now the moment has passed/And we can't rewind/We are dead long before we run out of time" - about getting old again |
