I think its about someone with unrealistic expectations of someone else (Wait for me because I waited for you No that's not what you should do Don't hate me 'cause I don't know you) like the other person is not as deeply serious about the relationship as the other person, to the point where its quite irritating. Sorry this makes more sense in my head lol. And maybe the narrator finally realized this other person has "insane eyes" and is a bit of a stalker. eg "Maybe then you'll not hang beside me" clearly its a bit one-sided. |

This song is addictive.. And I don't think it was about Kurt. I think it's more about the mentality of a junkie, and how they're stuck in the downward spiral. Like it starts out with the junkie asking for money, and then they want more and more. Also, in this part *and did you say: "I can't escape myself" and then you did and now there's no one else* it sounds like the original person is no longer there because the drugs changed them (made them numb/not give a crap about anything), just a drug addict. |
