all this ridiculous nonsense about the chant at the end of the song being "Smoke pot, Smoke pot, Everybody smoke pot" is complete rubbish my mum revealed to me what it was by singing along with it randomly one day its an old childrens chant the first two sounds are meaningless noises that if i remember correctly are "oompa loompa" which has no connection to roal dahl's little characters the chant is "oompa loompa, stick it up your jumper" you're a bunch of idiots |

I always thought this song was about being jesus. no idea why. i never made a connection with any of the soviet and eastern stuff. i thought it was being told from the point of view of christ before being ressurected. it takes too long to explain why. its quite a cryptic and vague theory but if one reads them and thinks about it. it can make sense. |

It's about being God, The song has many references to an eternal life "I've lived a thousand times, i found out what it means to be believed in" Also it has reference to creationism "Destruction of the empty spaces was my one and only crime" This shows how God made something of nothing The song also makes reference to the afterlife "Dont believe, the life you lead will be the only one You have to let your body sleep to let your soul live on" The rest of the lyrics seem incredibly cryptic and can be seen in many different ways but personally i believe it's a song about being god As far as the title goes. An acrobat is someone who performs acts that look almost impossible and we are amazed at how they do such acts as we are with god. |
