I believe that this song is about someone that almost acts as if they like you, but they don't like you at the same time. "the signals were easy to misinterpret yet strong enough to attract my hope" I think this sums it up, because he is saying that he thought she liked him, but he was just seeing what he wanted to in a way. I could be totally wrong but oh well. |

| I agree with chrisriggs, this song is clearly about posers, or people trying to be something that they aren't. It is pretty obvious in the first stanza, when it says you fake an identity. Good song! | |
