i know the song is about the music industry but i made up my owm meaning for the song before i knew what is was about, it made more sense to me that the song could be about entering high school or about finding friends/groups to fit in with, like the lines "Who is righteous, What is bold
So I'm told" could be about popular kids and the "honey" he sings about could be about everyone else wanting to have that social comfort or level that all the popular kids have. and hipsters untie could be about groups of kids forming groups/gangs to exculde people. "tell me all your sercets" being about rumors and what not. i know this isn't the correct meaning of the song is about but its my own alterntive view of it |

this song could have so many meanings its all a matter of point of view and how u can relate it to ur own life, but the part where he says "i know the pieces fit" is about tertis and his obession with the game |

amazing band, became one of my favorite bands the first time i heard them, such positive and meaningful songs, u could learn life lessons from them and amazing guitar playing, truly one of a kind band espeacially in this genre, i relate so much to this song as well and its meaning is so true, find something u love and that makes u happy and thats all u'll need in life |
