This song is GREAT! To me this song is about people who demand a "perfect world," kind of like Yagami Light from the show Deathnote and do really terrible things to try to achieve it. "Spinning further, deeper I know you're out to try me I'm not in this to be a slave Push the dirt Make me feel Locate what swallows life Night bird you build my world" -Describing the corruption the person sees "...and then I close my eyes " -He's picturing his own world, it's perfect. "Judge me now Used to be afraid to let it show" -He is no longer afraid what people will think of him and his perfect world. "I'm in a much better place now Everything's in place So much brighter from today" -Picturing la-la land. "A king in my own mind" -He's the ruler of his own dimension even though millions would probably disagree with him. "Drown the monster Make all bad dreams go away Whatever it takes to keep your hands free Open scars the quiet place All the bridges fall to the ground And you say you sacrificed" -I think that this is him saying what needs to be done no matter what the cost is. For example, in Deathnote, Yagami Light murders every criminal and people who have done something bad in order to create his 'quiet place.' "the quiet place" -Another name for his perfect world? A world with peaceful utopia? Peace is often described/metaphor as quiet. === My interpreption is probably wrong, lol. What do you guys think? |

I'm probably wrong but I think these lyrics is about some of the effects of global warming. "Watery rubber boots On the field of moss Inside the boots weary legs" -One of the effects is that the water level is suppose to rise intensely . "Swamp full of mist Icy embrace Nothing left of Sense of direction" -Hmmm..... Well, my dad told me that the climate will change greatly. Example, dry deserts will be extremely dry, cold regions will be extremely cold, etc. Because of these intense climate changes, some places will no longer be recognizable so we loose our "sense of direction" "Once was the air crystal clear Secular joys were so near Glory days have left behind Swamplord calls now misty mind" -The days before were great but now, they're a faded memory. "When there is nothing left on the surface And the wind is blowing slow Under the carpet of moss Finally I meet my Swamplord " -I don't know what this means. |

This one is pretty straight forward, it's about a bad leader. I can't get into anymore detail than that, just read the lyrics. This too is also an amazing song :). Kalmah is amazing. |

Hmm... To me this is about leaving the "ghosts" of your past behind and living in the present. "Tonight I'll see the line of thousand ghosts Those once were alive behind my eyes And I'm on the crossfire of my manic thoughts" His bad memories could his thoughts. "Now I have to run, I have to leave behind The things I've done Over the plains, over the mountain tops Covered with snow, to the unknown, into the Foreign lands there shall I go" He is leaving the things he has done or memories. "Those restless dreams keep on teasing I can see your eyes just before you died" He remembers them again. "Dead man's shadow!! " His past? What do you guys think? |

Blah. To me this is about some guy loving a girl so much but she does the asshole thing and cheats on him. He knows that she's cheating on him but he still loves her. "I will always love you. But i need pills to sleep." "Before you take me to sea, let me kiss the bride. Now take my body to the shore and ill wait for the tide." Anyone else agree? |

It means that you have to experiance the bad things to truely appreciate the better things in life. It's simple yet but amazing. |
