[btw, in verse two, the last line is supposed to be "but there s only so much the woman can take".] basically, he s saying that he s done and been through alot but he even though he has, he s moved on from it [hince the "i don t cry no more"]. when he says, "girl, i know you want this," it s saying "i know you don t want to be with me and crying won t change it" or "i know this is what you want [to break up] so i ll stop focusing on it/worrying about it/trying to fix it [aka crying/trying/lying]." in the second verse, he means that he realizes that he made his own hurt ["i took the picture...faced the truth"] by smothering her w/ his love && pushing her away ["lived a lifetime w/ you...watched you fall asleep...only so much the woman can take"]. in the third verse, he s saying "i m not all that but i know what s going on ["i know the deal"] and i ll want you only if you want me ["...bleed for your(s) if you ll bleed for mine..."]. well, i hope i was helpful =] oxox breiauna |
