| The Kinks – Strangers Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I don't think the song was a perfect fit, it tells such a story itself, and to me the moods don't match. I loved the movie by the way, but I love the song more. | |
| Bob Dylan – Desolation Row Lyrics | 17 years ago |

The song is full of allegorical ambiguity, and some semantic ambiguity- The fortunetelling lady Has even taken all her things inside All except for Cain and Abel And the hunchback of Notre Dame Everybody is making love Or else expecting rain-Are Cain and Abel and the Hunchback the exeption to the furtunetelling lady's things(possible religious statement) or to "Everybody"(Abel's dead, the other two are outcast)? Desolation Row, I think, means many different things. I don't understand exactly what it means as a whole, I don't think I'm supposed to. It still brings a tear to my eye every time I listen to it. |
