The song is about a fundamental Satanist belief of misanthropy (basically, a "hate" or general dislike and distrust of humanity in general) and another fundamental Satanist believe of everything essentially being nothingness ("lifes value is a point below zero"). The song does not really seem to be directed towards any religion like most black metal types of songs, but is just a general Satanist rant song (which, by the way, is awsome in every way). |

This song is just great. It is so atmospheric, the Dimmu Borgir's lyrics have never been better. They are not as bland as their latest release (hell, this whole song is better than In Sorte Diaboli). I like these Satanic songs that are more about life instead of "omg I luv Satan." They just seem more mature and more filled with imagery. |

This is one of my favorite TBP songs. I have to say, I definitly love the line "she fucking killed them all" just because it sounds so awsomely aggressive in the song. As for my interpretation, I am not entirely sure. From reading the albums lyrics, it seems like there is some sort of story going on between some guy and 2 women (one of which dies and then comes back to life to find the guy has moved on). I think it is fair to say that this character who died was murdered, perhaps at the stake or something. The writer is just saying that the world is a shitty place and he saw all of that on her dead corpse-face. |

I absolutely love the 2nd line of this song. Its a fresh Satanic message. The rest of the song, though, is pretty boring for me, unfortunately (at least in terms of lyrics). |
