This is NOT an indictment of marines or soldiers. It is an indictment of those who send them to war to die to protect our so-called "way of life". The line: "There's fresh meat in the clubs tonite, God bless our dead marines." refers to people getting wasted in clubs, doing coke, ecstasy, whatever, while our dead marines are the last thing on their mind. Remember when the Iraq war started and the Bush administration would not allow the media to film the coffins of dead soldiers being returned to America? They didn't want us actually realizing that we are in a war and kids are dying. Thus, "Dead kids don't get photographed, God bless this century". |
