This song is obviously not about a car. The description of the car is a metaphor for a friend on drugs. Neil is just wishing them luck and mourning the loss of a friend. "the last time i saw you alive" isn't actually a death, it is how drugs can suck the life out of someone. |

a close friend of mine is the younger brother to mike. we were talking to mike and this song is about waking up the morning after sex and recalling the nights occurances. the sleepy head is a reference to the narrator looking at the girl next to him. |

This is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite song by Muse. A complete masterpiece if I may so so myself. I think this song can be easily broken down into this: Everything you do, even if it is small, can affect the world even if you think it won't. You can do something small and change the lives of so many people without even realizing it. |
