The word 'today' is missing from the line "twenty-five men had their way with you [today]" The word 'about' is missing from the line "there was someone at home you cared [about]" The verb 'take' is missing from "why could they [take] a spoon and break your teeth" The word 'today' is missing from the line "twenty-five men [today] had their way in you" The line "Nothing is worse than to be born and live" is missing after "burned upon the feet with a cigarette" I think in the penultimate line it might be the preposition 'at' instead of the conjunction 'and', i.e. "you will die and die [at] Falkland Road". At least that's what it sounds like to me. And makes more sense. What do others think? |

| It could also be a double reference. Lustmord was a pretty influential band on the industrial scene in the early-to-mid 1980's, and the more experimental elements of Xiu Xiu are not so distant from the genre, even if overall the styles are quite different. | |
