FWIW, "Hey Joe" isn't an "old traditional folk song". It was penned by Billy Roberts in the 1950's. (Here's the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_Joe) But it certainly has a folk-like theme. I never considered the possibility of "Joe's Head" being a different take on that story from "Hey Joe", but it's certainly interesting. |

Are you referring to Talihina or one of the towns where they lived in TN? They grew up in various places, according to their bio they lived in Jackson, TN for the longest stretch (5 years). Nathan graduated high school in Jackson, and Jared went to Mt. Juliet in Nshville I believe. Not sure about Caleb. But obviously they were back and forth between Eastern Oklahoma and West Tennessee before they moved to Nashville back in the early 2000's. I'm from near Jackson, TN, a little town called Alamo about 15 minutes away. Where did you go to high school? |
