In difference from the many who think this song is about cheating lovers or whatever I think this song is about where the world is going. I can tell that by the lines Where are we? What the hell is going on? and sinking feeling ('Oily marks appear on walls Where pleasure moments hung before The takeover, the sweeping insensitivity Of this still life' in my opinion means that there aren't any pleasurable moments anymore. and there is so much insiensitivity and it's taking over.) but of course thats just my opinion. If it didn't have the word he** in it I would be able to listen to it with my parents around. |
