God damn...I dont care what anybody says Sublimes lyrics were written by a higher power...by far the most amazing lyrics of any band...EVER It brings a tear to my eye everytime I think,"what is they were still around today???" They would have kept shit comin for years and years...I swear to god I would empty my bank account to see Sublime play a live show today!!! And this song may be one of the best...combination of the beautiful lyrics and music...Sublime's music is exactly what the name entitles...PERFECTION |

This is an easy one...Bradley and friends are explaining how a wife and kids hold them down and prevent them from living the life they once lived "I step into the great unknown, on a ball and chain i call my own"-represents the "new life" he has with a wife and kids and he must leave his old life behind "Holy matrimony is not for me, I'd rather die alone in misery"- Bradley is saying that he would rather DIE ALONE than have a wife and kids...definetly aint-marriage, not homophobic |
