no comments in over a year, and only a handful of them? that is so wrong. this song is beautiful, powerful, touching, unique... who else thought it has a similar feeling to the classic "american pie"? i sure did. i think this song is about lost love. makes me feel as if he lost her because of having no purpose, no motivation, as if he was stalled in life just watching passively as things happen (i remember doin nothing on the night john lennon died). conceding "i was wrong and you were right" is the first step he has to take in order to move towards real life himself, but love lingers and while she-s probably gone for good he'll always be there for her in some way to do what he can (i'll get you tickets to what you need) |

X2. live alone is my favorite song from "tonight". i don't quite get the new york city taxi driver part. i know it's stupid but the first thing i thought was oh c'mon man, losing the love of your life doesn't mean you have to turn gay.. but, if he's alright he's alright i guess, lol. |

| i have to say i just listened to the whole album and was feeling a bit disappointed till i came across "no you girls", then "live alone" (my favorite). i really like what they did with "katherine kiss me", as a matter of fact while i listened to "no you girls" i did think "well we'll never know how the girl feels either". it was nice to see that in the end we agreed. | |
