Of Mice & Men – Ben Threw Lyrics | 13 years ago |
i think in the first verse, it's "i don't think you've ever walked A MILE in my shoes." |
Of Mice & Men – O.G. Loko Lyrics | 13 years ago |
it kind of sounds like they're comparing making music with having sex. the last line regarding being faithful to the fans, and delivering once again an album for us. pretty loose, but it sounds pretty good to me. the opening lines referring to sex in it's visceral, which is a lot like the music the band makes. |
Panic! at the Disco – The Ballad of Mona Lisa Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Yeah, I think you've hit the nail on the head with that analysis. It could be taken deeper, but this a perfect simplistic analysis. In a small addition, it does seem he's a little more preoccupied with her as a person than what she's selling per se, and I think his goal ("he senses something, call it desperation") is getting her out of prostitution and leaving her old life behind, although the song doesn't give much indication as to the outcome of that. if i were analise it a bit more, continuing my theme, if you take the last line in context of the song and my (well, our combined interpretation) ("There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for") the end seems subdued and hushed, also hinting at sadness as if this call girl (Mona Lisa) is rejecting his offer to help her escape. i feel like there's a perfect movie example of this, alas I can't place the name of the movie, nor those of major actors or actresses. |
Pierce the Veil – Stay Away From My Friends Lyrics | 14 years ago |
yeah, i purposely left the 's' off because songmeanings.net kept telling me that a "song with that title already exists" though it clearly did not ha. so i just posted it as friend, and then changed it after it was accepted. loop holes :) |
Pierce the Veil – Stay Away From My Friends Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Thanks guys :) I was pretty close! that line about glass hearts shattering, i just could not understand what he was saying the first half of that line. ha |
Chiodos – Thermacare Lyrics | 14 years ago |
fucking chiodos getting rid of craig... this next album, as shown by this song if nothing else, would have been SO fucking epic. no worries, craig is hard at work with aaron stern and nick martin on something even more fantastic. |
Pierce the Veil – Fast Times At Claremont High Lyrics | 14 years ago |
"i scream and wave my arms, but you DON'T understand me" |
Isles and Glaciers – Cemetery Weather Lyrics | 14 years ago |
i heard violence and light first time through, and continue to feel like that's probably what he's saying. still just guesses though :P |
A Day to Remember – Right Where You Want Me to Be Lyrics | 14 years ago |
good! i was listening to it a lot because i wanted to know the lyrics, and then I thought, why not post them for everyone to know! haha |
A Day to Remember – Right Where You Want Me to Be Lyrics | 14 years ago |
It realllllly sounds like write, so i won't change it just yet, but I had a hard time choosing ha. cause when i first listened to it i couldn't decide which it was. but your definitely right, it's between the two ha. hah no problem dude! |
A Day to Remember – Right Where You Want Me to Be Lyrics | 14 years ago |
thanks bud, i just couldn't understand that word. |
Brand New – Limousine Lyrics | 14 years ago |
also, when he says 7, he says 7 before the verse 3 times. 777, a holy number. |
Underoath – Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I'm pretty sure the lyrics are "Then we will be WANDERERS and vagabonds" since wonders doesn't make any sense here. my favorite song off lost in the sound though for sure. |
Asking Alexandria – A Single Moment of Sincerity Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I'm pretty sure it's "the light won't find us here" |
Asking Alexandria – The Final Episode (Let's Change Channel) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Does anyone know the lyrics to the intro "Alerion"? Aside from "Fuck this" and "Karma's a bitch"... |
Thrice – Talking Through Glass Lyrics | 14 years ago |
oh and sorry for the double post, but talking through glass... could he possibly mean trying to keep a relationship going while the other person is in jail? banishing myths, ad ghosts in your place would make a little more sense. myths about the crime the person committed, and ghosts being the thoughts and worries the person out of jail has. just a thought, although i can see the religion theory here too. |
Thrice – Talking Through Glass Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I'm pretty sure it's "My head is screaming I believe you but my heart is filled with doubt" |
Thrice – In Exile Lyrics | 14 years ago |
"Definitely more mellow than previous albums but the lyricism flows so well with the music its ridonculous. " agree about the lyricism, it's amazing. however, the alchemy index was MUCH more mellow than this. this is almost going back to artist in the ambulance. as far as the guitar and drums. |
The Devil Wears Prada – Louder Than Thunder Lyrics | 14 years ago |
wonderful song. like so many have said, too short, but fantastic nonetheless. personally, i think this should have been the last song on the album, instead of lord xenu. i feel like this song definitely shocks listeners on their first playthrough, and they would be left with that shock if this was the last song, rather than be thrown into lord xenu. i feel as though that transition was a bit rough, but maybe it's supposed to be. |
I See Stars – The Big Bad Wolf Lyrics | 15 years ago |
actually, the last line sounds like "I've seen you're future, and it's not too bright." |
Chiodos – Who's Sandie Jenkins Lyrics | 15 years ago |
how do you know blind? not saying it isn't true, but maybe a link or source? anyway, could this possibly have anything to do with the short story memento mori, and the character sammy jenkis? |
