I get where all of you that find the song offensive are coming from, but I think you're all taking it way too seriously, no matter what your views are. If it has any real meaning in it, it's just that she got wasted and did something she wouldn't usually do. "It's not what, I'm used to." Being wasted, damn near everything you do can be fun, so of course she liked it. She says "It's not what good girls do", she doesn't necessarily mean kissing the girl, that's just how you choose to take it. It could be getting drunk and doing something stupid. She also realizes her boyfriend could find out, but she's not really cheating on him. If you go to a bar and get totaled and kiss anyone while you have a boy/girlfriend or a husband/wife, you probably won't break up over it. And if her boyfriend did find out, he would probably only be pissed off that he missed it, in all honesty. You also have to realize that the song could be just for the hell of it, and wasn't suppose to create all of the contraversy that we're making out of it. Either way, you gotta at least like the beat, if nothing else. |
