First off, the lyrics are "She brushed the curls from MY eyes", and "She reaches for the light on the Bureau". I just love this song. It's so pretty, sweet, and simple. It makes me think of my bf everytime i hear it. |

I agree that it's pretty redundant to argue over who the best lyricist is. Some lyrics appeal to certain people more than others. Like myself, I think that Ville Valo is the best lyricist but there are many amazing lyricists. It just depends on your preferences. As for this song... I think its the story of a man telling his gf or wife how much he loves her before he dies. But then again I could be completely wrong, its up for interpretation... |
